Hi there I am so excited I found your blog page, I really found you by mistake, while I was researching on Bing for something else, Anyways I am here now and would just like to say kudos for a incredible post and a all round thrilling blog (I also love the theme/design), I don’t have time to look over it all at the moment but I have book-marked it and also included your RSS feeds, so when I have time I will be back to read a great deal more, Please do keep up the great job.

I'm not sure I get this because several listing I find in a Google search have meta descriptions that seem closer to 300 characters. For example, I did a Google search on this subject (how I found this post) and also saw the below organic result for one such meta description:

Mar 28, 2007 ... You'll need to buy the keyword through PPC so you know how many .... The first 150 characters or so of the product description at ..... To coax Google to show your meta description for your targetted keyword, use this formula: .... DSM4962 | August 23rd, 2010. New! I've also read that the public ...

That's way over 160 characters. Why doesn't Google cut that one off?
